Meet Our Team


Dr. Sandra Goodwin


Dr. Goodwin grew up and graduated in Mesquite (Skeeter!). She attended Eastfield College and Texas A&M Commerce prior to attending Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include acupuncture, internal medicine, dermatology, physical therapy and pain control.

Dr. Goodwin and her husband Bryan have a daughter, Taylen as well as other furry 4-legged children including Annie, Weatherby, Riley, Oscar the cat and horses. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, gardening, golf and playing outside with Taylen.

Dr. Goodwin's vision for the clinic is to continue to make great client service and great patient care the main priorities. "As a clinic grows, it is easy to lose sight of the vision. It is my goal to make sure that I continue to educate myself and our team on new medical and surgical advancements, but never lose our personal connection with our clients and patients."

Plans for the future include adding a physical therapy room to the practice.

Dr. Kipp Wingo


Dr. Kipp Wingo was born and raised in Edgewood, Texas, where his family farmed, ranched, and ran a feed store business. He graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor's in Science, and earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1990.

He started Van Zandt Animal Care Center (formerly Van Zandt Veterinary Service) in 1992 and is founder of Animal Medical Center of Forney ( which opened its doors in 2006. His primary professional focus includes small animal orthopedic and laparoscopic surgery, canine reproduction, and small animal dentistry.

Dr. Catherine Clinton


Dr. Clinton grew up in deep South Texas in the Rio Grande Valley in a rural setting around horses and cows. She graduated from Lyford High School in the May 2000, attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in August 2004 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May 2009. Dr. Clinton has experience in mixed animal practice and emergency medicine. Dr. Clinton enjoys working with all species and takes pride in educating owners on how to better keep their pets healthy and happy. Her professional interests include Ultrasound and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Clinton and her husband, Tyler, have 5 furry 4-legged children named Dobbie, Durham, Violet, Bandit and Benelli. In her spare time, she enjoys training and competing as a triathlete, kayak fishing, reading and watching movies.

Practice Manager

Mike Nelson


Mike joined the AMC Forney team in 2014. He has 20 years of management experience and is excited to apply this to the veterinary field. He lives in Royse City with his wife, two children, goats, chickens, and cats. Feel free to stop by and say hello!

Client Services Representatives

Annie Dudley

Annie Dudley joined our team here almost 3 years ago as a CSR. She lives in Forney, TX along with her husband, two children and 3 English Bulldogs. In her free time she loves to watch movies, spend time outdoors with her family and friends at the lake, and she loves to watch her son play baseball. The best part of her job is welcoming every client with a smile.

Taylor Jennings

Taylor has been a Client Service Representative with Animal Medical Center of Forney since 2015. She lives in Poetry, TX with her husband and two dogs, Sampson and Rooster.  Her hobbies outside of work include, reading, archery, softball, and annoying her husband every chance she gets. 

Veterinary Technicians

Lauren Gregory


Lauren Gregory joined our team when the doors first opened in 2006. She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2004 and really enjoys providing clients with the information they need to keep their pets healthy.

Lauren lives in Terrell, Texas with her boyfriend Brian, their combined 5 kids: Beau, Dax, Landon, Allie, & Gray, and their family dog, Asher. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, & watching her boys play baseball.

Juliana Fehlbaum, CVA

Juliana joined the AMC Forney team in January 2015. She is from Mabank and still resides there today with her farm full of horses, dogs and her pet ferret. In her spare time she can be found at horse shows, playing with her corgis, and spending time with family and friends.


Kennel Technician

Kim Crain


Kimberly has been at AMC Forney since the doors opened. Kimberly loves our clients and enjoys working with our patients. She has 7 dogs herself, 5 of them came from here, sometimes working here you have things follow you home ;-). Kimberly likes to spend her time visiting with friends and has a new hobby of painting. If you have not seen our new facility and kennels, please stop by and Kimberly will give you a tour.

Richard Hayden


Richard is a retired high school band director who loves dogs. He has a bachelor and masters degree from Texas Tech University. He has be married for over 40 years to a lovely wife who is also a retired school teacher. They have one son, daughter in law, grandson, and two dogs, Bosley and Ducati.
